One of America's only remaining domestic confectionary companies was asked by the global leader in retail to convert from a flexible packaging/peg-displayed format to a more sustainable and popular theatre pack/shelf-displayed format.
SPBCo's "one-stop-shop" design professionals were challenged with both conversion concepts as well as "blue-sky" creative graphic designs. After developing the appropriate product content/net weight size & style in a new theatre pack folding carton structure, SPBCo's graphic designers converted flexographic/flexible packaging design software content into leading offset lithography/folding carton design software. Several new, creative concepts were then developed, one of which was selected by customer ownership. Production orders quickly followed, enabling retail shelf conversion timelines to be accomplished.
